WEEK 11
MAY
5TH 2014 (MONDAY) – The last group to shoot for
the production have been completed and that is the promo video group. But,
changes have been made after a few discussion with the producer. This is the
second time we are having problem. As a director I feel bad towards my crew
because I couldn’t manage the team properly. Therefore, the blame goes to me
and I admit it. The final shoot for promo video was done last week and the
footages are not enough. So, our group will be doing a short film and we made
it. As for the others, they have started
two weeks earlier for their post – production (editing).
This
week lecture is about screenplay. In order to be a good director, screenplay is
one of the important part in making films. Based on Cyclical Production Model (Marcus
Gillezeau, 2004) screenplay takes part during the pre – production phase. According
to Screenwriting.io a website that provide a simple and concise explanation
about screenwriting, screenplay is a script for a film or television show. In
writing a screenplay it may have few terms used and format that need to be
follow.
