"KILL BILL VOL.1 (2003) - REVIEW"

OVERALL REVIEW

In 1997, Uma Thurman was the Poison Ivy in the Batman and Robin yet another film that makes me feel good with her acting was the Kill Bill, Vol. 1.

Based on IMDb, the world's most popular and authoritative source for movie, TV and celebrity content the film was about the bride wakens from a four-year coma. The child she carried in her womb is gone. Now she must wreak revenge on the team of assassins who betrayed her - a team she was once part of. (www.imdb.com)

In this film, Quentin Tarantino had brought a different style of scene which he combined several idea from several movies. As interviewed by Michaela Latham for bbc.co, that asked him about stitching together from samurai movies, Yakuza and speghatti western and he answered, "I just grew up watching a lot of movies.

I'm attracted to this genre and that genre, this type of story, and that type of story. As I watch movies I make some version of it in my head that isn't quite what I'm seeing - taking the things I like and mixing them with stuff I've never seen before." (www.bbc.co.uk)
